Wairarapa police are warning drivers to take more care after four car crashes in the region in less than 24 hours.
In the most serious case, a car rolled onto its roof but nobody was injured.
Senior Sergeant Warwick Burr warned people to take more caution.
"Police have noticed an increase in motor vehicle crashes though certainly none of them have resulted in serious injury," he said.
"However the prominent factor is probably the wet roads which are obviously slippery after a period of hot weather."
