Greymouth's war memorial pillars have found a new home in Dixon Park, where they lie after being rescued from Arahura, 32km south of Greymouth, on January 10.
The pillars were ripped out from a site now owned by Mawhera Incorporation that has been earmarked for redevelopment and stealthily shifted on January 5, sparking national outrage.
