A man who helped negotiate the return of stolen war medals to Waiouru Museum was over an hour late for his court appearance today.
A warrant for the arrest of Daniel William Crichton was issued in the High Court in Auckland but was withdrawn when he finally arrived.
He was further remanded on bail until October 5 on 10 counts of supplying methamphetamine, one count of supplying ecstasy, and one of offering to supply cannabis.
Crichton had been in prison awaiting trial on the charges, but was bailed after negotiating with men allegedly accused of stealing 96 war medals, including nine Victoria Crosses.
Crichton's trial was originally due to begin on August 17, but was aborted after about two hours of legal arguments in chambers.
A new date has been set for July 19 next year.
