Police are urging the public to report any sightings of a 42-year-old man with a distinctive tattoo under his eyes.
Anthony Gene Wharton is subject to warrants to arrest after failing to appear in court on drug, firearms, dishonesty and driving charges.
Last seen in Kerikeri, he has the words 'Black Power' tattooed backwards under his eyes.
Police say he should not be approached, and that sightings should be reported on 111.
