Auckland Police are hunting a man who has been approaching women from behind, putting his hands around their necks and kissing them.
Police have released an identikit photo of a male who they say has been inappropriately touching women in and around the Mt Albert train station and Pak'n Save supermarket on New North Road.
Detective Martin Friend said the man was being sought in connection with at least six assault cases in which women have been left upset and scared following the man's actions.
"This man is often approaching women from behind - putting his hands and arms around their necks and then trying to kiss them,'' Mr Friend said.
