It's Christmas Day but across the country police are not resting as they continue the hunt for people wanted on warrants or in relation to crimes or incidents.

It's likely an anxious day for those on the police radar, knowing they could be caught out any minute.

If you see any of these people, or know where they can be found, call your nearest police station or dial 111 and ask for police if your information may lead to their quick arrest.

Police say the 22-year-old cut off his home detention bracelet on Tuesday morning and is evading arrest. Puia lives in Massey and is serving a sentence for aggravated burglary.

He has a tattoo saying CB on his upper left arm and police are warning members of the public not to approach him.

"If you see him please call 111 immediately," a spokeswoman said.

Further information about Puia can be passed on to the Waitakere Crime Squad on 09 837 9511.

This 27-year-old has a warrant out for his arrest and police say he is "actively" avoiding them.

"He has 'South Auckland' tattooed on the left side of his neck and has connections to the Manurewa area," police said.

"He is considered dangerous and should not be approached. If you have any idea where he is then please contact police on 111 ."

Mark is wanted on warrants to arrest for shoplifting and failing to appear in court. The 31-year-old is dangerous and should not be approached, police say. She also uses a number of aliases including Mark Moka, Te Aroha MOka and Aroha Moka.

Martel is wanted on a warrant for manufacturing methamphetamine. He is 38 and likely to be in the Waikato District.

William Beazley

A warrant is out for the arrest of William Beazley for unlawfully possessing firearms. He is likely to be in the Waikato and has tattoo of the letters WSO on the inside of his right forearm. Police say he was last known to be in Hamilton and is dangerous so should not be approached.

Gregory Junior Edwards

The 27-year-old is wanted on warrants for burglary, failing to appear in court and refusing a police request for a blood sample. He is believed to be in Papakura or the East Auckland area. He has a number of distinctive tattoos including the word DOGLIFE on his right forefinger, Auckland Mongrel Mob on his left shoulder and a bulldog helmet on his right shoulder. Police say he is dangerous.

Brown is wanted on warrants to arrest for failing to appear in court, breaching community work, resisting police and assault. He is likely to be in South Auckland, specifically in Papakura.

Putt is wanted on warrant for breaching his prison release conditions The 32-year-old is dangerous and could be in the Manurewa area but has links across Auckland and Christchurch.

Manuel is wanted on warrants for breach of community work, breach of conditions and reviews of his sentence. He is from Otahuhu and is likely to be in South Auckland.

John Te Aho Ramon Moana

Moana is wanted to arrest for unlawfully taking a motor vehicle. He is from Otahuhu but has connections across Auckland and in Rotorua.

Thompson-Kopa is wanted on warrants for unlawfully carrying or possessing firearms, breaching community work and failing to appear in court. He is from Papakura and also goes by the name Damian Rungarunga. He has the word KOPA tattooed across his chest and is considered dangerous.

This man is wanted by police in relation to the theft of handbag outside a Massey shop on Tuesday.

"The car was parked outside a shop in Moire Road at around 2.15pm, when it's alleged the man reached in and grabbed a handbag," police said.

"Members of the public chased him, got the handbag back and took this photo, but the man ran off before Police arrived.

"If you know who he is, please private message us, or email lucy.field@police.govt.nz."

Wanted in Hawkes BayHawkes Bay police are on the hunt for a handful of people, who could be connected to ongoing inquiries. If you recognise anyone from these CCTV shots released by police, contact the Hawkes Bay Station on 06 8310816 and quote the photo number.
