A woman has died after falling from her bicycle in a collision with a group of pedestrians.
Donna Vivienne Guy, 61, was believed to have been cycling on a walking track on St Johns Hill in Wanganui about 8.30pm on Tuesday when the accident happened.
Police said she fell off her bike and hit her head. She died at the scene.
It appeared she was wearing a helmet at the time.
