The Wallabies rugby team will stop wearing clothing made by Canterbury at the end of the year.
Canterbury chief executive Scott Chapman said the clothing company went through a tender process, but another party valued the Wallabies property higher than Canterbury was prepared to, given current market conditions.
The Canterbury brand was bought by British clothing company JD Sports in August. Canterbury supplied the Wallabies' shirts for 10 years.
