An entire school roll who walked 20km for charity have handed over a cheque for $6000.
Wairarapa College's biennial West Bush Challenge sees the student body hit the roads to raise money for a worthy cause and their school.
This year their chosen charity was Life Flight, operators of the Westpac rescue helicopter.
School council chairwoman Josie Major last week handed over the $6000 cheque to Life Flight communications manager Sebastian Grodd and communications assistant Miriam Dawson.
Along with Josie, fellow student councillor Alice Evans co-ordinated the September event, which included gathering sponsorship from businesses.
