WELL DONE: Wairarapa College school council chairwoman Josie Major, with Life Flight Trust communications assistant Miriam Dawson and communications and PR manager Sebastian Grodd.
An entire school roll who walked 20km for charity have handed over a cheque for $6000.
Wairarapa College's biennial West Bush Challenge sees the student body hit the roads to raise money for a worthy cause and their school.
This year their chosen charity was Life Flight, operators of the
Westpac rescue helicopter.
School council chairwoman Josie Major last week handed over the $6000 cheque to Life Flight communications manager Sebastian Grodd and communications assistant Miriam Dawson.
Along with Josie, fellow student councillor Alice Evans co-ordinated the September event, which included gathering sponsorship from businesses.
