The husband of murdered woman Blessie Gotingco has visited the place her body was found for the first time since her death.
Antonio Gotingco gave a poignant message to about 100 people who gathered at the Birkenhead-Glenfield Cemetery yesterday to honour his late wife.
The cemetery was the starting point of a special remembrance walk. Organiser Adrienne Brunton said ongoing events would help keep residents united.
Tony Robertson, who was found guilty of Mrs Gotingco's death, was last month sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum non-parole period of 24 years.
