Wairarapa's top junior tennis talent will take centre stage this weekend.
They will be involved in quadrangular tournaments against teams from Hutt Valley, Hawke's Bay and Kai Mana
The under-10s tourney will be played at the Masterton Tennis Centre and representing Wairarapa there will be Edward Phelps, Mitchell Blackwood, Frazer Dymond and Toby Tuoro.
Hawke's Bay hosts the under-12 tourney and the Wairarapa team there will consist of Jamie Osborne, Monty Petrie, Angus Petrie, Jack Sowry, Kristy Renall, Zoe Schofield, Zoe Paris and Anlo van Deventer.
Mitchell Park in Lower Hutt will be the venue of the under-14s event and repping for Wairarapa will be Harry Bateman, Kirk Collins, Kota Maeno, Myles Collins, Ashleigh Gane, Julie Malcolm, Maria Hodges and Tina Hodges.
Matches in the Wairarapa regional one Shirley Corlett Trophy inter-club competition will continue tomorrow with pace setters Masterton hot favourites to beat Gladstone at Gladstone and an Opaki line-up strengthened by the return of top man Russell Broughton likely to account for Martinborough.
