Wairarapa MP Alastair Scott has more than the proverbial roof over his head - he has three of them.
The just-published register of Pecuniary and Other Specified Interests for New Zealand's MPs shows Mr Scott owns a family home in Kelburn, Wellington; a house on his Matahiwi Vineyard land just out of Masterton; and a beach property at Ohope, near Whakatane.
Apart from his vineyard he has business interests in Dairy Investment Fund, beneficial interests in three family trusts and belongs to the ANZ Kiwisaver superannuation scheme.
Mr Scott received directors fees from Henergy Cage Free Eggs, although as of January 31 he was no longer listed as a director.
On the debtors side of the ledger Mr Scott has two long-term loans, both to family trusts.
