Activities to raise awareness about climate change will be taking place around Wairarapa this week.
A talk by Corey Allan from Motu Economic & Public Policy Research, will be held tonight at 7.30pm at Carterton Events Centre.
He will talk about Motu's new household carbon calculator which enables people to better understand and control their carbon footprint.
On Saturday Wairarapa people can join the Global Climate March -- a worldwide demonstration calling for action on climate change -- by taking part in a march from Featherston to Masterton.
The march will begin at 7am outside Featherston's SuperValue and will finish mid-afternoon in Masterton Town Square.
