A man accused of a hit-and-run in Greytown, Wairarapa, is also now facing charges of lying to police.
Sergeant Tim Crum said a 19-year-old had been charged in relation to the hit and run in East St, Greytown on August 9.
Crum said the 19-year-old also faces charges of making
a false statement to police and careless driving.
He will appear in the Masterton District Court on September 21.
