It was all one-way traffic when Wairarapa-Bush B hammered Linton Army 72-0 in their rugby clash at Memorial Park, Masterton, on Saturday.
Winning a steady stream of quality ball from the set pieces of scrum and lineout Wairarapa-Bush ran in several excellent tries, many of them involving good input from forwards and backs.
Lock Sam Marshall-Wilson and loosies Tony Carter and Lee Ewe were impressive performers up front for Wairarapa-Bush while Tipene Haira and Jason Coffey combined well in midfield, the hard-running Coffey being named supporters' club player of the day.
Wairarapa-Bush B will continue their programme with a match against Wellington Maoris in Wellington next weekend.
