Police are warning the public to be on the lookout for a man wanted in relation to a parole recall warrant.
Lionel Torrie is believed to be in the Whakatane area, and has links to the Waikato region, police said in a media release tonight.
Police also want to speak to the 33-year-old in relation to a number of incidents in the Waikato district police area.
He should not be approached. Anyone who sees Torrie, who is 176cm tall and of Pacific Island decent, should call 111 immediately.
Torrie also has the name "Lily" tattooed on the left side of his neck and a visible tattoo on the inside of his left forearm.
