KEY POINTS:
Waikato man Jason Reihana has gone on trial in the High Court at Rotorua today for a domestic double murder.
The 34-year-old is accused of stabbing the mother of his two children, Teresa Gunn, 27, and her new love Andrew Grabner, 39, in a fit of jealous rage.
He has denied both murder counts but pleaded guilty this morning to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to his former brother-in-law Wiki Ngarimu.
Reihana is represented by Paul Mabey QC with Craig Tuck. Prosecuting for the Crown is Robb Ronayne, assisted by Simon Bridges.
The trial, expected to last into next week, is before Justice Raynor Asher and a jury of six men and six women.
