Waikato Hospital admin staff vote to strike

Waikato District Health Board clerical and administrative staff have voted to take industrial action after pay negotiations broke down.

The workers were offered a 1.5 per cent pay rise, well below offers made to other DHB workers.

Clerical and administrative staff are today collecting signatures outside the hospital for a petition to be presented at a mediation hearing.
