Wild winds are being blamed for a Waiheke-bound ferry crashing into Devonport wharf yesterday afternoon.
Ferry company Fullers says the Starflyte was caught by the wind as it was backing into Devonport's outside berth.
The 120 passengers were transferred on to the Superflyte ferry, leading to a 20-minute delay.
