Volvo gets sporty in mellow-yellow

Volvo has boosted its 40 series line-up by importing limited-edition models in a colour it calls Panama yellow.

The vehicles continue the sporting package introduced by the turbocharged T4 model, which in turn was inspired by Volvo's success in the British Touring Car Championship.

Volvo has improved the 1.9-litre four-cylinder engine, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The limited-edition models cost $67,950, the same as the T4.
