Put your rubbish in the bin and do your bit to help keep the nation clean, green and beautiful - that's the key message this week.
It's not too late to get involved in Keep New Zealand Beautiful's annual Clean Up Week.
Projects called "clean-ups", in which community groups have been getting together to clean up their local park, school or street, have been organised up and down the country. They spread from Kaitaia to Bluff and have been registered on the Clean Up Week website.
Keep New Zealand Beautiful chief executive Simon Johnstone says everyone can get involved.
"Clean Up Week is a great opportunity for New Zealanders to take part in a day of litter collection, cleaning up local sports clubs, schools, churches, community centres, parks, gardens, streams and lakes."
But be quick: the Clean Up Week, also known as the the Great NZ Spring Clean, will officially end tomorrow.
