KEY POINTS:
Police in Ngaruawahia are searching for a dangerous and "extremely volatile" man alleged to have kidnapped his children and former partner.
Sergeant Mark Toomey said Korn Noun, 25, failed to appear in Hamilton District Court to face charges.
Mr Toomey said the public should not approach Noun as he was dangerous.
Noun was driving a white 1995 Holden station wagon, registration TI8637. Anyone with information should contact Ngaruawahia police on (07) 824-8199.
