Founded 100 years ago and now one of New Zealand's larger family owned wine companies, Babich Wines are proud to have evolved as a major New Zealand winery exporting to over 40 countries. With over 30 years of involvement in the Hawkes Bay, Babich Wines were one of the pioneers in the Gimblett Gravels, and now have vineyards throughout the region.
We have an opportunity for a highly talented and motivated individual to lead our Hawkes Bay vineyard team.
The Hawkes Bay Viticultural Manager will be responsible for:
Running our 4 company vineyards
Managing our vineyard team in Hawkes Bay.
Accurate cost forecasting and cost management of the vineyards
Continuing our programs of vineyard establishment, replanting, and virus control.
Babich Wines is seeking applications from highly motivated individuals who:
Have completed a viticultural degree
Have experience running multiple vineyard sites - preferably in the Hawkes Bay region
