A resource consent will be filed for Auckland's SkyPath after a successful round of public consultation on Saturday - and there's still time for residents to have a say.
The $33.5m proposal would see a separate path for cycling and walking built across the Auckland Harbour Bridge from St Heliers to Devonport.
Under the current proposal, tourists, casual users and commuters will pay between $2 and $4 to cross the path. It will be built as a public-private partnership between the Public Infrastructure Partnership Fund, Auckland Harbour Bridge Pathway Trust and Auckland Council, with ownership eventually passing to the council.
To take a fly-through tour of the planned path, take a look at the below video. Residents have until April 28 to make a submission on the design.
