Victory celebration in Crusaders territory today

A victory celebration is being held in Cathedral Square in Christchurch at midday for Super 12 winners the Crusaders.

The city council and rugby union event has been organised after the team's 35-25 win against the Waratahs on Saturday night. Players and management will parade the Super 12 trophy, while fans have a chance to meet the team.

Mayor Garry Moore says it will be a celebration of the region's tribalism.
