Victims of Dannevirke crash named

The three people who died in a head-on car crash near Dannevirke have been named by police.

They were two year-old Aaliyah Wrigley and her father Jonathon Wrigley, 36. Cicely Bramley, 73, from Ormondville was driving the other car.

The three people died on Wednesday night when the two cars collided just north of the intersection of State Highway Two and Otanga Rd.

Meanwhile Aaliyah's 29 year-old mother and a 57 year-old friend of Ms Bramley are in a serious condition in Palmerston North Hospital.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
