The family of a woman who died in a four vehicle crash over the Queen's Birthday weekend are "devastated" by her death.
Susan Mary McLeod, 58, from Kaiapoi, was a pillion passenger of a motorcycle when it crashed into the back of a car waiting to turn right at the junction of State Highway 1 and Harleston Rd on May 31. She died at the scene.
The rider of the bike suffered serious leg injuries. He was now in a stable condition in Christchurch Hospital, police said.
