War disablement and veterans pensions will increase from April 1.

Veterans Affairs Minister Judith Collins says both pensions will increase 3.75 per cent, reflecting increases to the consumers price index.

"The increase in the rate of the war disablement pension and veterans pension helps to compensate veterans for the rise in living costs."
