A student has been rushed to hospital after turning up sick to an Auckland school this morning.
A 14-year-old girl was taken from Mt Roskill Grammar School to Starship Hospital about 9am today in a moderate condition, said St John spokesman Robbie Walker.
Mt Roskill Grammar School principal Greg Watson said the girl arrived at school "very" sick and went to see the school nurse.
"She presented at school very unwell and it was the decision of our school nurse to take her to hospital to investigate her condition."
The nurse travelled in the ambulance with the student, he said.
