This is the text of an email Tony Veitch sent to Kristin Dunne-Powell on 20 November 2006.
"Hello you... thank you for your email.. sorry for delay in reply but have been away for weekend.. part of new life strategy. !
I guess like you, I just want this year to end and for us both to move on to a better, happier place. !
I am happy to help you out financially, that is the least I can do... I just hope the therapy is helping and you are getting to a state where you can live a "normal" life..."
The email continued...
"I want you to know that Zoe is fully aware as well what has happened... and I really want to build our lives together... just as you and Morgan have... that is part of the reason I think we need a clean break... it affects you and I way too much. ! I truly wish you and Morgan every happiness... it is weird I feel a real calmness about writing that... I just want you to be happy... and I want you to fulfil all your dreams.
You will be a fantastic mum and wife... and I am sorry I will not get to see the evidence of that... that is a truly sad thing.
So, Kristin Louise Dunne I say to you ... Good luck with your future... Again I say with utter sadness how sorry I am for all that happened. That type of behaviour was not "us" ... not even close... we are much better people than that... I know that in my heart that certainly was not me... How I ever got to that level of life defies belief... but just know I intend never to get back there again.!
Have a great holiday wherever you are heading??? I hope it is hot... and you have lots of cocktails in the sun...
I will always miss you...
Take care Krissy
Love Tony."
