A vehicle linked to an alleged kidnap has been found by police in Queenstown.
The white four-door Mitsubishi Lancer saloon was found at a residential address in the town and will be forensically examined by Christchurch ESR staff tomorrow.
The car was located by police investigating an abduction on Saturday morning.
A 28-year-old man was attacked by a group of armed and masked skinheads who bashed him, bundled him into a car, drove him to Arrowtown and dumped him on the side of the road.
Detective Sergeant Brian Cameron said the victim was subjected to a "sustained and brutal attack" while a bladed weapon was held against his throat.
