Valerie Adams has arrived in Samoa as part of her travels as New Zealand's first Pacific Sports Ambassador.
The triple-Olympic medallist posted a photo to social media of her posing in Apia with two larger-than-life cutouts wearing the uniforms of Manu Samoa and the All Blacks, with the caption "Talofa lava from beautiful Samoa".
Adams had been in Tonga this week before travelling to Apia as part of her new role, where she will conduct coaching clinics with up and coming elite athletes.
At the time of her announcement Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully said the appointment would continue to strengthen our already strong sporting ties with the Pacific.
