A young American is believed to have faked her own death by telling friends she had died in a car crash in New Zealand.
Friends of Taylor Lynn Flemming were stunned after a message from her brother, Nathan, appeared on her Facebook page saying she had died after colliding with a truck.
They now believe Flemming, 24, posted the message in an attempt to fake her own death.
Her friends in the Oregon town of The Dalles were so upset by her death they organised a rally in the car enthusiast's memory, which 200 people attended. Friend Nikki Sutton was so distraught she got a tattoo in Flemming's honour.
But a month after her supposed death, Sutton and nine others received a Facebook message from Flemming that said: "hi, I'm back from the dead hahaha."
