Just moments after being unwrapped, unwanted Christmas gifts are being put up for sale online.
Research by shopping app Sell Shed shows most people are willing to sell unwanted gifts for extra cash.
Chief executive Peter Howell says older people find it a bit more difficult to part with presents.
"I think they'd rather just keep their gifts and keep their children and grandchildren happy."
Roughly two-thirds of 25 to 34 year-olds are willing to sell gifts.
