The Auckland City Council says there has been an unprecedented turnout this week to elect its Pacific Island Advisory Board.
Dozens of candidates are standing for 18 positions on the board, which will provide a link for the council to Pacific Island communities.
Niue and Fijian representatives were elected on Monday night.
The election for Cook Islands candidates is tonight, and for Tongan candidates on Monday, both at the Fickling Centre at 6.30pm.
