The form book says Wairarapa United should have little trouble in beating Palmerston North Marist in their central league football match tomorrow.
With United siting third equal on the points table and PNM bringing up the rear in the 10-team competition, you could be forgiven for thinking it is all over for PNM bar the shouting.
But United have already experienced the dangers of under-estimating any of the so-called battlers this season.
"There isn't a side in this league that isn't capable of beating you on any given day and that's the way you have to approach every game," Wairarapa United coach Phil Keinzley said.
"We've already lost a couple [of games] most people thought we would win, so complacency shouldn't be an issue."
Keinzley is looking for United to show the same authority they did in their 2-1 win over Lower Hutt City in their Chatham Cup last weekend, a victory which came only two days after they had lost 3-1 to the same LHC line-up in a central league fixture.
Playing a 4-1-4-1 system they had good structure in their attacking and defensive play and the odds are that Keinzley will stay with the same players and format on this occasion.
How PNM approach the match will be interesting. They have been guilty of being too defensive but have reached a stage where they desperately to need to chalk up some wins to avoid relegation.
It would be no surprise if they were much more attack-orientated tomorrow at Queen Elizabeth Park oval in Masterton.
By pressing forward on a regular basis PNM will boost their chances of scoring but they will also likely allow the home team more opportunities to display their counter-attacking skills.
Given an inch, players like Adam Cowan, Seule Soromon and Campbell Banks are capable of taking a mile.
