Wairarapa United remain in a two-way battle at the top of the Capital division one men's soccer points table.
They are locked on 16pts with Western Suburbs after both teams have registered five wins and one draw from their first six games.
However, it is Wairarapa United who are in front by virtue of their better goal differential. They have scored 22 goals while conceding just four while Western Suburbs have scored 17 goals and conceded six.
Last Saturday's round of matches saw Wairarapa United beat Wainuiomata 7-1, Western Suburbs beat Miramar Rangers 3-1, Olympic edge out Kapiti Coast United 5-4 and Lower Hutt City draw 1-1 with Seatoun.
