Wairarapa United coach Phil Keinzley has a prime objective for his team in their Chatham Cup elimination soccer match with higher graded Victoria University at Carterton tomorrow.
He wants them to prove they are capable of maintaining their focus for a whole game.
Which is something they haven't managed to do in any of their Capital division one competition matches to date despite being at the very top of the points table.
"We want to put 90 minutes of quality soccer together," Keinzley said. "We want to start well and keep the momentum going all the way through"
Tactically, attack will be foremost on the minds of the Wairarapa United players.
Their strike power is expected to more than match that of University and they are keen to give front runners like Sakeo Valevou, Pita Rabo and Troy Burling every chance to test the sureness of the opposition defence.
At the same time, however, Keinzley wants them to show patience when building their attacks.
"We've been inclined to rush things at times and we have to get out of that habit," he said.
"We need to be precise in our passing and our work off the ball??we have to keep mistakes to an absolute minimum"
A possible starting line-up for Wairarapa United is: Charles Kendall, Andy Taylor, Paul Watkinson, Andy Robertson, Carl Shailer, Murray Burling, Aaron Spierling, Mirack Tuhroh, Troy Burling, Pita Rabo, Sakeo Valevou
