Wairarapa United are leading Capital Soccer's 12th grade inter-club competition after a commanding 8-1 win over Upper Hutt TBarr Plumbing last weekend. They have won all three of their matches to date, scoring 11 goals and conceding just two. In the Capital Soccer 14th grade series Wairarapa United lost a high-scoring game to Western Suburbs 7-4 at their latest appearance with Josh Logan being named player of the match and Mark Hemi scoring a hat-trick.
Matches in the Capital third division senior men's competition also continued last weekend with Wairarapa United producing their best form of the season before going down 2-1 to Waikanae.
