A person has died "suddenly" in South Auckland and police say the death is being treated as "unexplained".
Emergency services were called to Aldo Place in Clover Park at about 10pm last night after the sudden death.
Detective Senior Sergeant Kevin Tiernan said at this stage the death was being treated as unexplained.
Inquiries into the circumstance of the incident were being made, he said.
