Wairarapa shared 15th place at the national under-15 boys hockey tournament in Napier last week.
They were involved in a playoff for 15th and 16th with Thames Valley and the match was drawn 4-4.
Earlier, Wairarapa drew with Wanganui 1-1, lost 0-3 to Tauranga, beat Taranaki 4-0, lost 1-2 to North Harbour, lost 1-2 to Wellington and lost 0-2 to Hawke's Bay.
Wairarapa placed eighth overall at the national under-15 division two girls tourney at Blenheim.
They lost 1-2 to Horowhenua in the playoff for seventh and eighth after earlier beating Wellington 3-1, beating Poverty Bay 2-1, losing to Horowhenua 2-3, losing to Auckland 0-9 and losing to Marlborough 4-6.
