Two young children, aged 1 and 2, were seriously injured in a two-car crash in Waikato last night.
Police and other emergency services went to the scene of the incident, which occurred about 7.25pm on Tauhei Rd in Tauhei.
A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said six patients were taken to Waikato Hospital from the crash scene.
A Waikato Hospital spokeswoman said today the 1-year-old was in a serious condition, the 2-year-old was stable and four other people involved in the crash had been discharged.
The Serious Crash Unit was called to investigate and diversions were put in place.
