Two trucks are blocking State Highway 4 in the central North Island following a crash this morning.
Emergency services and heavy vehicle equipment are working to clear the trucks that collided about 500 metres south of Raurimu, north of Mt Ruapehu at 3am.
The damaged vehicles are locked together side by side and the road remains closed to all traffic.
