Two teens arrested for serious assault

Two teenagers have been arrested in relation to a serious assault in South Auckland overnight.

Four men aged between 21 and 25 years were assaulted at a property on Station Road in Takanini.

They were all taken to Middlemore Hospital, where one remains in a stable condition.

Two 15-year-old boys have been charged with assault - but police say more serious charges are expected to be laid in due course. They will be appearing in Manukau Youth Court tomorrow morning.

Police are still seeking one other person in connected to the incident, and say they are following strong lines of enquiry.
