Two taken to hospital after Waikato car crash

A car crash at Te Ohaki in the Waikato has seriously injured two people.

Two people are seriously injured after a two-car smash on a rural Waikato road.

Police say the crash happened on Te Ohaki Rd at Te Ohaki, 10km from Huntly, about 7.20am.

Two cars collided on the Waikato road, which runs alongside the Waikato River connecting settlements west of Huntly.

St John said the two seriously injured people were taken to Waikato Hospital.
