The theft of a septic waste truck from Dunedin has left police scratching their heads.
The blue and yellow 1986 Nissan Atlas, with 'Barry Dell Plumbing' emblazoned on its side, was stolen from The Glen suburb of Dunedin at 4.30am yesterday, police say.
Two men were spotted at the Nightand Day store in the Octagon about 5.24am yesterday before getting into the truck and heading north.
