Two people were shot in Hamilton's Norrie St a day apart but police are still seeking the gunman who shot a man in the arm.
Teina Williams was arrested after the first shooting, on June 15, and appeared in the Hamilton District Court yesterday, charged with discharging a firearm at a victim with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
And on June 16, a 14-year-old suffered minor injuries after being shot, also in Hamilton's Norrie St.
Detective Senior Sergeant Andrew Saunders said no one had been arrested yet, but police are seeking sightings of a white four-door car in the Norrie St area that night. Police also want information regarding the movements of the Taupo Mongrel Mob in the area at the time.
Anyone with information can call Mr Saunders on (07) 858 6200, or call Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
