KEY POINTS:
Two men are now jointly charged with murdering an undercover policeman in south Auckland this month.
Name suppression also lapsed for John Ward Skinner, 37, and Iain Lindsay Clegg, 33, when they reappeared in Manukau District Court this morning charged with the murder of Sergeant Don Wilkinson in Mangere on September 11.
The pair are also accused of attempted murder and Skinner faces a new charge of assault with a weapon.
They were further remanded in custody until next month.
Mr Wilkinson, 46, was shot dead and a plainclothes colleague badly injured when they were disturbed planting a tracking device on a vehicle outside a suspected illegal drugs lab in Mangere East.
