Two Saudi students charged with rape

Two Saudi Arabian teenagers studying in New Zealand are due to appear in court charged with raping two young girls.

The pair, aged 16 and 17, were arrested four weeks ago and face a court hearing this month, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade confirmed yesterday.

If convicted the pair face a maximum jail sentence of 20 years.
