Save Two people are recovering from smoke inhalation following a fire in Invercargill last night.
Southern fire communications shift manager Darryl Ball said the fire occurred just before 9pm on Georgetown's Pomona St.
The single storey dwelling was "well involved with fire" on arrival, he said.
Five applications and around 20
firefighters responded to the blaze, Mr Ball said.
"We had two persons removed to hospital with minor injuries...smoke inhalation and other complications."
